Yes I think it should be mandatory because a lot of parents are not teaching their children what they need to know in that area. I have never taken a sociology class and have never needed to because I had good parents.

I had a semester of sociology in high school and barely remember it, and this come from someone that remembers a lot. Personally, I think that it should remain an elective, but some kind of applied logic class should be required for those who need it. That would probably have the same effect as what you looking for.

Yes.
Even better, combine Sociology with Anthropology and Political Science into one mandatory class.

no count what degree you're taking, there'll be particular humanities "center instructions" that you'll favor. from time to time, even if (a minimal of at my college) they're diverse for the diverse college departments (i.e. college of liberal arts calls for particular issues, college of sciences yet another) so that you ought to have some theory -- technological expertise or humanities, etc. discover out what those required instructions are at your college on your software. yet commonly, can't bypass incorrect with english, a literature classification, and that i imagine maximum faculties do a year of overseas language. Public speaking is perhaps good to take for most majors. that's healthier to easily take the straightforward instructions and get them out of ways in case you at the on the spot are not positive what you want to do (even if you're positive, you would replace your concepts, like I did, later on!) So do exactly straightforward stuff till you've a extra acceptable sense for what you want to do. save your agenda as mild as you could on your first year and take advantage of time previous regulation to perhaps attend open-lectures (maximum universities have them many times) and see what you're attracted to. that is my advice. (and certain, you choose your instructions -- they don't truly "provide" you any -- yet there are a mode of times particular ones that are required for all degrees as I stated earlier lol. Sorry if this become puzzling, desire it helped you indirectly :) also, in case you ought to live to inform the tale campus, i'd propose getting to carry close your roomate nicely and putting "rules of habit" with eachother almost about issues mutually with centred visitor frequency, music, in one day visitors, etc etc accurate from the start. or you would finally end up with a not-so-cool roomate situation. (back, i'm speaking from adventure the following...) have relaxing in college! that is WAAAAAY extra acceptable than HS, i got here upon. :)
