yes but most probably the attack would be on the people of South Korea, so long range missles are not the issue (they can't make them work yet). The US has many troops and bases in South Korea, and the north has threatened many times to attack South Korea if the US interferes. The US can do nothing to the north other than sanctions.

Depends on which missile you are discussing. The missile they were developing that was suppose to hit the continental United States failed its test flight. So the idea that they would lunch that particular missile is rather irrelevant because it doesn't work. It is more likely that North Korea would use the missile if they thought the US is going to attack. The thought being that if the US did attack before the North Korean's fired off there missile the US would destroy the missile(s) before the North Korean's had the chance to launch them. That is what makes this situation really scarry.

If we attack, those missiles won't do any good. I would fear North Korea exactly to the same degree as, say, another terrorist attack. Both are plausible, but not likely. So, it's sort of a cummulative fear. It shouldn't be the main topic. North Korea isn't the biggest threat to America. Pro-war enthusiasts are, such as those who encourage a preemptive strike on Iran. That would be treachery. I don't trust Iran, but we should let the UN deal with them. We simply don't have enough allies to begin another campaign. We need to wrap up Iraq and Afghanistan before we turn to other things.

First of all, Our technology is way more advanced than theirs.
I'm sure if we were to attack it would be provoked or we would
have attacked already. They did fire missles at us already.
However there technology is so bad that they can't even reach
us, and ours is so good that we could intercept and blow them up
in a matter of seconds ! They would almost have to come at
us another way! We have the capability and technology of taking
anyone out at anytime before they could even respond. That is
why the terrorists are finding other ways to try and get at us.
Car bombings etc because they could never fight us up front.

Actually, the long range missles that were being tested didn't work (they blew up right after launch). So they really don't have any way to attack us.

a competent one service service of lack of existence! Who reported the missle changed into nuclear? All of their missles have failed....why they save finding out them. Even their nuke checks have failed. The extra they attempt, the extra they use and the extra they lose and performance none to apply....persist with that?
