I am looking primarily for infromation to help create lesson plans for US History, but any area of study may help.

The best I have found is www.atozteacherstuff.com ... it has search for grade level or subject area. You could also try doing a search for "US History webquest" and that should give you quite a few sites for informational purposes.

Just type in U.S. History lesson plan in a yahoo or google search. You can even be more specific and type in "World War II lesson plan" or whatever you are needing a plan for. You should get a lot of sources that way. That's what I always do. Good luck! :)

Oh i am feeling so sorry for you as i see no one has answered your Q after 55 mins.. well i am a teacher also ( but i 'retired' after my first year- the planning drove me around the bend... just checked out my favourites and here are the history sites i used - but i taught mostly about the Tudors... are you from US as i am from uk so these sites might not help but it is worth a try:
