Ever contemplated murder, but just for a split second --and then you were brought to reality? I'm studying to be a forensic pscyhologist and want to see how many people think about murder at LEAST once in their life?

Yes, many times. Often in detail and not for a split second. However a much larger number of instances would be self defence which is not murder, and I've had to stop myself a couple of times. Because I know I have the power to do it, I can always choose not to, which makes me less of a push over than I used to be. I have too much respect for myself than to lower my standards for someone who is asking to be killed by their actions towards others and would rather remove myself from the situation.
There are, however, a lot of people in this world who deserve to be taken out.

I think from an honest point of veiw unless brought up within very strict religous surroundings, though they should not be counted out, it would be impossible to go through life without contemplating it at some stage. After all, do we not all contemplate all options given to a problem whether on a conscious or sub conscious level?

Not murder. No.

But yes, I have thought about how I wouldnt mind killing a really very dishonest politician in my country. He has spoilt a whole state and looted the people of wealth and education for over a decade. And so when I thought about it, I felt I could happily kill him and it will be ok to suffer the consequences because I would do humanity a favour.

I spend way too much time in the religion section to not contemplate murder.

oh jesus christ, talk about vivid scenes from my imagination of killing the one person i hate the most in the world.. i most likely think about it every day, or at least once every 2 weeks.. would i ever do it? well, maybe if it was in the heat of passion and it wouldn't be planned out.... the jail sentence would be too long.

Not seriously. i think there is so much they can do with forensics it would be stupid for virtually anyone to plan a murder.
