1. We are what you see.
2. Remember the puzzled look you used to get when you asked a guy how he felt about something or why he loved you?
We have to learn these answers.
The reason is, we don't know. We dont have as many neural connections between the 2 sides of the mind. We don't know why we have particular emotional responses. Other than emotions, we don't feel about anything - we determine from facts and self interest, not emotional feeling... which is a great lead into...
3. We decide based on logic, roles, instinct, expetations, social norms, self interest, etc. Emotions control the response and level of interest, but not the thought process. Think Mr. Spock, or under certain circumstances, Spock in heat.

Find what he is interested in and bring up that topic. Listen to him and talk when you want to talk and to give opinions. Be loose and do not get angry with if he is still lost in his own world. Have a heart to heart talk .Maybe he is having some problems of his own and that is why he can't speak his mind. search for the topic.

but the best way to get into his mind by asking him a quis abt ur matters but chose one that is close to hi's i mean if he got a problem with love and why always girls happier than a guy or the guy is cheatin more blah blah so ask him somthing close to that but abt u keep him talking he will give u exactly what he is thinkin abt!

the best way to find out what is on a mans mind is to talk to his best friend.that would probably be the only one he would talk to about his problems.or try to become his best friend.most of us guys are taught as a child to suck it up and hold it in.so we carry it around with us and end up lost and depressed.good luck.

Why don't you kindly tell him what your perception of him is,
as in, (his name), whenever we talk I feel like you are (whatever)
Then ask him, (his name), do you feel that way?
If a person can't or won't tell you what they are thinking or feeling, I don't know how you could be really sure; and if they are good liars, you may still not know, but you could give it a try.

try to stop wanting to learn what he could be thinking and just be his friend...you will understand him without realising it.
