Always wondered how magicians perform fantastic tricks. Is it possible to decieve a human eye. That too often a group of people. Is there a super natural power playing a role behind them?

absolutely there is nothing supernatural about it. It is easy to deceive the human eye, because they practice practice practice a zillion times before they do it in front of an audience. else how do you expect people to float in air defying gravity and breaking all laws of science. if it were possible to defy gravity with supernatural powers, all the scientists in NASA would commit suicide. You seem to be asking about illusionist's tricks, rather than magic. Illusion is little more than sleight of hand (the hand being quicker than the eye, accomplished through practice and by misdirection). Even stage magicians now call this practice "illusion," and may insist on being called an "illusionist."

Magic is the art (or 'science') of altering natural events by other than natural means. A practitioner may make use of incantation, invocation, incense and candles and/or other occult methods.

Diverse magics exist, white and black being the most commonly known. True magic is considered preternatural, rather than supernatural. By definition 'supernatural' is something so high above the natural that it can only be of God.

The magicians bread and butter, so to speak, is misdirection.

Their entire goal is to have you looking somewhere other than where their hands are doing the magic.

Some card magicians are so good that they can do their sleight of hand in front of well trained casino guards and they can't see anything out of sorts.

Love as always,
