I dont see why she thinks it is abnormal...I do have a fun fact though, for one of the comments. It is not a freak of nature that you and your daughter got your periods on the same day! Studies show that women who are consistantly in eachother's presence, like mother and daughter, are more likely to have their cycles going at the same rate. It doesnt always happen, but when it does, if you think about it, there is another reason that shows women are connected to eachother in very special ways!

Did she not think it was normal to have a period start on the second of the month, or that her period had started at an abnormal time than she normally experiences? Either way both are normal occurences with women, as cycles can differ with the affects of stress, sex, medications, etc.

If she is concerned, she can make an appt with her doctor or ob/gyn, or (if money is a problem) the local health dept, or even look for an income based ob/gyn. Hope this helps, and if she needs some reassuring, she is welcome to IM me at any time!

Hmm...yea, i'm a guy, and i know already she's normal. It depends on situations though.

Like,

Is she on birth control?

That does have a tendancy to mess things up, and make her think she's always "Late" . My friend also has her's right around your girlfriend's time, and it's due to the birth control. For some reason, it kinda "Blocks" it. It's even worse if she's on the OthoEvra Patch. that'll screw things over big time.

She is normal though =)

Since there are not the same number of days in every month, and most woman's cycles are not usually spot on regular, the vast majority of woman DO NOT have it on the same day of every month. Even those on "the pill" don't, because again, there are the same number of pills each month, but not the same number of days.

Periods vary from month to month and are different for everyone. My 15 yr old and I (45) got our periods together yesterday by a freak of nature, yet other times mine are different to hers.
