The monitor size is determined by measuring, in inches, from one corner of the screen to the diagonally opposite corner. DO NOT measure the housing or case that the screen is in.

u measure it using the tape or check the box u bought the monitor and see the size or check the guide book given along the monitor

U can measure the screen size in Inches diagonally across the screen

The comp. Size get recognise in Inches Specified bu the manufacturers in their specificetion whicle byuinmg. ex. 14", 21" etc... These distancs is exactly the distance between two digonal points of that monitor Now a days two Principles that uses cathode ray tube or LCD display .....

Easiest way is to measure it diagonally.

You could also locate the make/model number listed on the monitor and do a search at the manufacturer's website.

Measure the display portion (not the casing) diagonally i.e. from bottom left corner to top right corner - it is usually 15 inches or 17 inches.
