The best answer I can give is be yourself. Be honest, straight forward be sure to use eye contact and if you ask a question actually listen to the answer. You may also want to ask yourself "How do I meet anyone girl or guy?" or just think about how you introduced yourself to your friends and you may find that what you used to say hello to a fellow guy will work for a woman too.

Women are individuals, just like you guys are. There is no one way to get a woman interested in you. Some of us like tough guys, some like kind and sensitive. The best way to meet and treat a woman is to be polite and respectful just as you would meeting anyone in any situation. Watch for her signals: Does she seem interested in what you're saying or is she looking bored and wanting to get away from you? Try being yourself. Don't act like someone you're not. Do act like yourself. Don't be loud or obnoxios. Do talk about your deepest feelings. Don't ask us out after less than 7 minutes of talking. Do ask us out then SET A DATE. Most boys just say 'I'll ring you' or 'I'll e-mail you over the holidays' and they never do.

Just try to be friends with us. I'm not into guys who try "lines" or try to be super impressive. I like humor and intellegence, but not someone who tries to hard at either.
As far as approaching goes, just try to make small talk and see where it leads.

Just be yourself ..... don´t try to play the "big man" in front of your mates. Be honest and don´t rush things - if the spark is there you will know and so will she .. if not move on and try again. It´s no easier for females!

with a smile! and 'hello' or 'hi' is usually a good start. most women are not so mean that they would go 'eugh get away from me' unless you do something really stupid like grab their ***. the ones who do do that, or laugh in your face, are not worth it so you shouldnt care if your rejected by them.
