No - that's nothing, that's normal...might mean you have a cold - you might wanna try taking Tylenol or Asprin (Or any kind of ibuprofen at that), to lower your temp, and maybe get it back to "Normal"

It's when it hits 104 that you should worry. 102.7 to 97.8 just means a normal cold or flu bug =)

you must see the doctor now, this could be a symptom of typhoid or pneumonia.

the diseases i have mentioned shows similar traits of fluctuating body temperature.

another possibility could be a faulty thermometer.(but the possibilty is less because the only way a thermometer can go awry if it gets punctured and if it does, the mercury would leak comlpletely)

whether a problem or not your body is giving you a feedback about some abnormality present in your body.

Go NOW !

Then something's must be wrong with the thermometer.
There cannot be such a fluctuation in such a short period. If that is really happening go and consult a doctor as soon as possible.
GET WELL SOON BUDDY.

Hmmm... firstly check your thermometer. If it is broken, get a new one...if it works see a doctor! Your body temp should not fluctuate by almost 5 degrees for no reason.
