It is, in fact, the most patriotic thing a person can do to question the President and any other elected official.And to that end, I would draw forth that it is also most patriotic to have an opinion regardless of positive or negative about said elected officals and to seek removal of any elected official that any voter would see as a person not doing the job of the consent of the governed.I would also draw forth this quote from our most sacred American document(in additional details):

I don't believe that it's wrong to or un-American to want anyone removed from office. It's disheartening to see the kind of base, low class comments I see leveled at the opposition from BOTH sides though. We have enough enemies in the world without making ourselves the enemy. I do hope that if the Republicans lose in the next round of elections that we will conduct ourselves with a little more class than I have seen from the Democrats in the current setting. If you don't like the President, then VOTE HIM OUT. We did, with mixed results. It is a sad reflection of the character of those who post insults of the type I see here directed at a national leader. If this is indicative of the quality and type of people who want to lead this nation in the place of the current leadership I don't hold out any hope for things getting better under new management. Some of the Republicans I see posting here are no better. It's disappointing really. You can disagree with someone, and be openly critical of them without the lowbrow crude insulting tone that pervades some of the thoughts (or lack of thoughts) I see here all the time.

There is nothing un-American about disagreeing with our leaders. It is our job as Americans to keep those in power responsible for their actions. That is why we have freedom of speech. If we label all people who dislike the president as un-American, then we are no different than all the other dictatorships of the world. Unfortunately, the media and the people have failed in the task of holding our leaders accountable for their actions. This administration is simply out of control. They have lied about WMDs to get us to fight a war, they have ILLEGALLY spied on reporters and civilians, and they have been slowly taking away our rights. What I don't understand is how people can support him. I find it funny that whenever someone says something bad about Bush, it is rebutted by an attack on Clinton. I guess there is no real way to defend Bush because he has done so many things to warrant impeachment. I'm so glad that in America I am allowed to express my disagreement with the administration. I hope I can continue to live freely in this country and voice my opinions in public. If we lose this fundamental right that is given to all Americans, then the United States as we know it, will no longer exist.

The most patriotic thing a person can do ? You condescending jerk! You just spit in the face of everyone who has ever fought and died to keep idiots like yourself free to say stupid things.I just find it fascinating that many,if not most, anti Bush fanatics find no problem with taking arms away from the people and at the same time spout off about the patriotism of rising up against whoever they find a threat to their own opinions. What do you think the founders had in mind for resistance to a tyranny? Opinions? Ha! As far as that goes they usually find no problem in labeling speech they find offensive (ordinarily christian speech) as hate speak and have a need to muzzle it as well.
Hmmmm..... as long as they agree with me. OR ELSE!
The tyrannical thought police work on behalf of the left. Not your feared Bush supporters/ patriots.

Because Bush is right in what he is doing. Anyone who thinks that no president has ever engaged in wire tapping ought to read history book. Operation eschelon under clinton for example. Further democrats dont have a problem with the press hating them. So far democrats dont have a legit reason other than the fact he is not a democrat

That is not the problem. People are conditioned to do as they are told and anything that upsets the apple cart has to be done away with. You would get the same reaction if you said something negative about your parents. You would be considered "ungrateful," "disloyal," a "bad" son/daughter. The same thing would happen in the workplace. You would be classified as "not a team player" or "trouble maker" if you said anything negative about your boss. People, in general, don't like to confront problems. Most would rather endure them, ignore them, complain without action, but very, very few want to DO anything about them. It's not the presidency issue. It's a people issue.

Well at least your question isn't filled with, Hitler, dumb, terrorist and other rather childish descriptive words. That's when I dismiss most liberal thoughts and views. I'm an opened minded individual and if a view is given in logical well thought out fashion I at least then will be able to give it look and see if it's valid. Now when it comes from someone foaming at the mouth and all they spout is hate...well they are what they state.

Don't mind the questioning of the President but do mind the gibberish.

If George Bush did something to warrant removal then fine. But how come liberal Democrats always feel it was ok for Bill Clinton to lie to a federal grand jury that is grounds for impeachment. If not you try perjuring youself to a grand jury. You will go to jail. Don't say WMDs in Iraq because congress voted almost unaamously to go to war Republicans And Democrats so why don't you call for their removal from office too. It's because it doesn't suit you political agenda does it?

First I do not accept your definition of Patriotism.Secondly your whole reasoning behind his removal is based on lies.The Democratic party held the same view as Bush before he took office,all the thing you claim Bush is doing to our civil rights were passed in congress by Democrats while they were in power and used by them.The president is supposed to protect the nation,Bush is doing so.

To the "congress authorised him" crowd, nobody authorized him to invade Iraq. He was authorized to do whatever it took to get those who planned and attacked us on 9-11..hows that going?

Thank god,
we don't have a king or a dictator.
we have an "elected" official who must be held accountable.

Republicans found it justified and necessary to impeach Clinton, for lying.
Where is the moral outcry regarding warrentless Wire taps, warrentless banking taps, WMD intelligence, The outing of a CIA NOC.....

Bush is not king, he swore an oath to the Constitution...not his legal dept trying to find ways around the Constitution....
