Is it a milestone b'day? If it is you might want to make it spectacular. Think of some of the things that he has done for your birthday and use that as a guide. If he doesn't put much thought into yours then I'd say he wont expect too much. In the bedroom? Give him the one thing that he has always asked for and you haven't given him yet(as long as it's not against your moral fiber). Outside the bedroom? Does he like to bbq? Music? Classic or his favorite movie. Does he have soround sound. My gf got me a system for Christmas and I love it. If he likes to bbq go the local outdoors store or bbq store and just look around. Does he have a nice car? Take alot of pride in it? Go to a Pep Boys or similar store and look around there. You can get a lot of great guy gift ideas if you just look around. We're really not that hard to please. My favorite gift from gf was coming in the door and finding her standing there in a new sexy neglige holding a cold beer with a look on her face that said "take me i'm yours" "tonight baby.......anything" Pay off will be a big pluss for you too. Good luck and haaaaaaaave fun with it.

Pretend that you have forgotten his birthday...when the night comes ask him to go out with you to the beach. tell him that you have something important to discuss and you don't want anyone hear your conversation.
Then both of you sit on the sands and let the feet feelthe water...
ask him to close his eyes. take out the mini size cake with one candlle on top...two glass and a bottle of wine from you bag (you have prepared before) If you have a budget you can give him present that he likes very much
Ask him to open his eyes..
whispering him "Happy Birthday Honey...bla..bla..bla
This things was happening in my birthday...my boyfriend did it and give me a ring and purpose me......
