they have been kicking this case around for months without even coming close to getting a conviction. Saddam is pulling a fast one and he is stretching out this case for as long as he can. He is hoping that the US will pull out Iraq and he will then have a chance of regaining the presidency. We must not forget that we are dealing with one of the slipperyist people in the world. He must be convicted very soon and executed. Prolonging his trial is very dangerous.

Should have never been a trial. Should have sealed up that hole he was hiding in and let him die right there.

Whether Saddam survives the courts or not, one thing is sure. USA will have a tough time once the verdict is pronounced (whatever it may be).
Many lawyers and judges have already died, we dont know how many more such unfortunate ends will be witnessed.

This war has become very dirty, because of the amount of hidden weaponry and explosives that is at the disposal of the Iraqi elements opposing USA and the current regime installed there.

Saddam is a hot potatoe!

Saddam is being "tried" by a kangaroo court.

Amazing how so many people have become intimate acquaintances of Saddam Hussein based on what they read in newspapers or on the Internet.

The question is why is being tried by Iraqi courts when he should be tried in the Hague.

Second question is republicans keep saying he gassed his own poeple he gassed his own people, should the logical question be why wasn't he charged with that...why is he being charge with shooting some people he claims tried to assinate him....

Why cant' we keep his lawyers alive?

why is there no laws appliying to contractors who are over there...meaning not US law or miliatrary for private contrators......
why?

He should be sentenced around August. He deserves death, but I'd trade a life sentence for all the information he has, that is, if his information can bring peace (and maybe some arrests in Brussels).
