for a person searching for real love, they will find it a difficult task.
you cannot search for real love because you never know when you will be in love. Love is a mixture of chemistry, it can zap you like a bolt of lightning when your are not looking, it can inspire you to do great works. also, real love knows no time boundaries.
Real friendship definitely can take a long time to develop and a true friend will be with you the rest of your life. I say friendship is greater than love, because a friend knows when even to back out of your life for a while, if love should come along. Love can heal your heart, but again, cherish what amount of love you have, even if it is brief. Then go back to that friendship for stability and compassion.
"love passion" is overrated.
before finding a lover, you must learn how to be a friend. Those "friendship skills" will fill the lonely days between flashes of love. You will need a friend and lover, to have lasting love.

I think that real love, is essentially the same as real friendship. Except, that with love....there is romantic and physical attraction. Our true love will be our best friend. And, then some.

Real love exists only in real friendship. You have nothing to gain or loose in a friendship. People are friends because they want to be. You can be fat ugly and she can be good looking and fat! In a friendship all are go!

well, i think when two opposite sexes are too close to each other, both might mistook the feeling between them for love. but in actual fact, when u find that u can't confide in the person anymore, u will know that its not love.
