As a true follower of the goth girl style for soooo many years now, I'm kind of stuck in my ways. I love the image & the music & the make-up & all that but I'm a little bored with what I wear. Money is an issue so I can't easily just go buy loads of new things. Does anyone know where I might find some reasonably priced "corporate goth" outfits on the net besides E-bay...?
I've seen some really lovely pinstripe corsets & stuff but they're really expensive!! Any ideas appreciated.

Buy some fabric paint and go to primark as it sells everything and it's sooooooo cheap, then go for and make your own style, at least u'll be original and nobody will guess that you have bought cheap stuff and they'll be well impressed wen they say omg, where did you get that and u say, well actually, its my own invention!
A cool way for makin pressies and makin a bit of dosh on the side!
Hope that helps!
Good luck!

I love a beautiful woman in black... Corsets... HOT!

Anyways. It's actually better that your strapped for cash in a wierd way. It makes you more "real" and "hardcore". Because all the "real" goth people throw their stuff together. My gaunt is actually from the womens dept. Foud it and it looked good. No one knows. My daughter found my other gaunt and put it on me while it sits next to a silver arkitek fossil watch that's all bling bling. That's to offset the overkill goth thing. Use your imagination and forget the "corporate goth" crap. That's for people you call "posers".

I WAS also a goth like you,so goths tend to chilland write poetry and stuff,so heres what to do take some of the clothes you dont like anymore and costomize them like sew a cool phrase on the front or cut up the lame and dull sleeves on that top.

Since goths are known to wear torn up clothing, just dab your clothes with a lighter, put some A1 on it and have your dog chew it up, or gash it with a knife.

this may sound a bit silly but you should make some laugh if you will but you can use bits form other clothes and design them how you want them to look you can then call yourselves a clothes designer you never know friens might follow.you couild be the one that started a new trend.
