Men confuse everything with sex. It's their job to make the next generation survive.
A noble deed. And someone has to preserve the species.
It's just like men, always thinking about someone but themselves.

Men aren't really that naive, they just don't generally care that much!
In a committed relationship, I'm sure there are times when women do precisely that - have sex not because they actually want sex at that moment, but as a gesture of love to their partner, a gesture of sharing and giving and love. And there'll be times when men will realise that, or indeed will do the same thing (yes, believe it or not, and much as I might be thrown out of the Brotherhood for saying so, there are times when men don't want sex, but will still do it as a gesture of love)
But I think it would be simplistic to say that men having sex at any point necessarilly stop and think "Wow, she must love me". Most of the time they're kind of just thinking "Wow. Sex. Cool!"
I do think there's this myth that "women want love, men want sex" that came about as a result of the repressive attitudes of the 40s and 50s: you couldn't be a "good girl" if you actively sought "just" sex, you had to buy into the dream of love. Nowadays the myth remains more in men's attitudes - they tend to still think women won't give them sex (we still largely receive it as a gift) unless there's an emotional, a loving context. That is supposedly changing though as more men and women wise up to the fact that there's no blanket reality - some women want love, some want sex, some want both. The same is true of men.

this is my opinion that that an an primal sense men accept what they are and need so I don't think "confused" would be the adjective your looking for.Try one of these discriptions:replace as when l;ove cant be found, the sex is so good and they delude themselves into believeing its love or equate as in an emotional problem, barrier that equates touch with love,These though are found in both sexes.and ultimately the answer would be yes,but if you want to be gender specific(not to mention stereotypical and somewhat biased )when a man really just wants sex or"the sex" and doesn't really want or isn't in love but is willing to say he is ,then the answer is no he's not confused at all.To clarify since I've given a yes and a no it's a no because you can't be confused if your doing it on purpose.

no, but Marilyn....you definately was confused about love and sex...could never find love in sex and always looked in the wrong places for it. Women struggle with learning the difference as much as men, if they do at all that is.

Can't speak for all men but my partner being there for me 24/7 is love. Anything else is just getting closer to each other.

women need to stop wanting love and just admit thry are horny. then men wont give a ----. if it was that simple there would be no mixed emotions between the sexes.

no. Men aren't totally stupid. However, If some guy says you would have sex with him if you loved him deserves to be dumped, after being kicked very hard.
