Of course there are long term relationships. I know several lesbian couples that have been together 15+ years (at least one for 25+) and the women are still very close, love each other very much, and are very good friends and lovers. I would guess that long-term lesbian relationships are pretty common.... so there's lot of hope.

Yes there is hope. My partner and I have only been together 3 years, but some very dear friends of ours have been together 14 or 15 years (I cant remember which). As a matter of fact, I can think of several lesbian couples that we know that have been together 10+ years.

Yes, there are long term lesbian relationships, myself and my part. have been together 11 years. Not always easy ones, but we have raised 5 children together. We have just purchased a house and 10 acres. We will be paying this off for the next few years. So as you can see we have intended to be together for quite awhile longer....Love is grand and only gets better........kelli b

I don't know any that have gone that long. Even though I am Bi I just don't think it is natural for two women or two men to try to be in a long term relationship. The chemistry just is not right. Men were ment to be with women and women with men. but, since I like both I will have my cake and eat it too.

But when I comes down to a long term commited relationship, when I am ready, it will be with a man.

Lesbian relationships tend to last longer.
Women are nesters and nurturers by nature. (say that 3x fast)
The female species of most animals are like that.
When you see two 90 year old ladies walking, holding hands, it's not always because they are trying to hold each other from falling down. They could have been together 75 years.

I have heard that it is practically the first base in your relationships to get 2 to 3 cats, a golden retriever and a house together.

I have been with my current partner a little over 2 years, but we have quite a few friends who have been together over 10 years. we meet couples all the time who've been together much longer. last month, when we participated in a mass committment ceremony at St. Louis Pridefest, there was a couple next to us had been together 23 years.

Where I work, there are alot of gays. And alot of them have been in relationships 10 plus years. Just like any other relationship, you got to find the right one. Hang on.
