Go to the doctor to get a blood test. With my first son I was taking EPT test for 6 months before one came up positive. I knew I was pregnant I just couldn't get a test to confirm. If you think your pregnant seriously start taking prenatal vitamins don't drink or smoke.

It is unlikely that you will still have a period when you are pregnant though you can have spotting. You should take a urine sample with you to your doctor and have a check up just in case and they will be able to give you a more accurate pregnancy test.
Apparently a lot of women get pregnant but miscarry so early on that they assume it is just a period and there is no harm done to their body so they never realise.

Get a blood test done at the doctor's office. They are much more accurate. The dark blood could be one of two things: 1) Implantation bleeding, or 2) dark blood just before your period (it happens to me every time). Good luck!!

well first of all I would suggest going to the doctor to have that reconfirmed that one test that is supposed to be 99.5 percent accurate has been wrong for me every time ask your doctor for a blood test also could be a sympathetic pregnancy where you have all the symptoms of a pregnancy without the pregnancy if this is the case then your hormones are just out of whack .

Are you using a digital pregnancy test or one of the cheap ones that have the little lines? If you are using the cheap ones and you see the FAINTEST line--you are pregnant. My advice, run to the 24 hour drugstore, get a digital one and try again. Either way, you need to call your doctor.

Do another test in a few days. The blood could be spotting which some people could have inbetween periods.

Take another test and go to doc anyway. It is possible to get a false positive or a false negative on a preganancy test so doctor is your best bet.

you could possibly have a phantomm pregnancy, thats where you are worried about being pregnant so much that you give yourself pregnancy symptoms. in some cases, women often get "bumps" which makes them look pregnant too.
