Yes. You have to have your chart done and look at a few things in order to see that. An astrologer would be interested in your 10th house, which deals with your profession and your social life, you 2nd house, which tells us about the money you'll make or you already have. Also, you should check the position and aspects of Mercury (language, communication), Venus (arts, beauty), Mars (sports), Jupiter (your chance in life, your career), Saturn (it's a big indicator if you like chemistry or not; it also point out the frustrations you may have regarding your work), Uranus (originality, unusual work, inventions). And there are a few astrologers that work with asteroids, which can also give details about your career. Also, your birth sign and your rising sign can help.
So astrology can give you a clue and there are some cases where predictions regarding one's career where very accurate. But what you do in life is your choice and shouldn't be influenced by the stars and planets.
There are several sites you can visit on the Internet, but for a career report you'll probably have to pay. My favorite site (because their information is very precise) is www.astro.com .
I hope this information helped you. Have a nice day!

I have been studying Astrology for some years; still am so far away from anything. Planets and Possibilities is a book by Susan Miller. A beginner's book. I studied that as a start. It explains the understanding of planets and so much more. Then pick up some more. We have to see which Planet is where in a chart to understand, Take any Planet, say Venus. See where it is in, in your chart. Now where should it be? Which house is the house of the Planet, Venus. Is it in a friendly house. What does that House signify? If you visit a friend's house, how do you feel as against an enemy's house. Some houses can be neutral. It works that way. Is the Planet friendly with the Planet's house it is in... This is simply put. Work on this as on what all here have said. Wish you best.

You would most likely have to go to an extensive astrology chart, that asks for a lot of details about a persons birth, life, and such. And unless you are lucky, you will probably have to pay a pretty penny for such a chart. Do a google search, and see what you come up with. And let me know what you find, I myself am interested in learning more about astrology...my dad has had me interested since I was 8.

Most horoscope break downs will list out possible careers that each sign are most likely interested in.

For example: Taurus

Most likely to be either a person in Music, Dance or Art, a Chef, or an upper executive like a CEO or owner of a business.

I myself am dead center of Taurus and I ended up as a business owner that deals with the art sector. As a child I had wanted to become a chef cause I do enjoy to cook.

Astrology can describe the potential which can give you an indication for suitable and possible career choices.

The typical area to look is the Midheaven (MC) and the 10th house as this describes where you are aiming in life and your social status. What you do on a day to day basis at work is best described in the 6th house.

Absolutely. Most of your war generals were either Libra, Libra rising, or lots of planets in Libra, or 7th house, or heavy venus aspects (all the same thing). Libras are supposed to be the peacemakers of the world, but when sweet talk doesn't work, the velvet gloves come off and the fist of iron comes out. There have been major studies done on vocational astrology. Just a few short examples- course you gotta take the whole chart into consideration - dare devils- Evil knevil - I know I didn't spell that right, have a heavy aries influence in their chart or mars, or aspects thereto. EMTs have aries, mercury. Researchers, (Madame Curie) and the first heart transplant doctor, butchers, anthropolgists, have heavy scorpio influnce or 8th house influence. Stenographers, writers, newspaper reporters, taxi drivers, etc, have heavy influence of Gemini, or 3rd house planets, or aspects to the ruler of the third. Singers - Barbara Streisand), for one, heavy Taurus/venus influence(Taurus rules the throat) or second house aspects or to the ruler thereof and the third. But you can't just use that general stuff. The rest of the chart has to agree. People ahead of their time, scientists, inventors, heavy Uranus/Aquarian 11th house or aspects to such(Albert Einstein) Little example - maybe you have Pisces on your second house of money, or Neptune there, or an aspect to the ruler. You might feel it's okay to help yourself to things at work; paperclips, stamps, paper, because you might feel your boss doesn't appreciate you enough or pay you what you're worth, so you help yourself to a few little perks. Cancer there says I might work with real estate. Or I'm happiest when working with the public. But Oh, my God, if there's a rumor I might get laid off or fired, I get sick to my stomach. Cancer on the fourth, you might work out of your home, or maybe you sell real estate. Again, these are just examples and you have to take the whole chart into consideration. Venus wants to work in harmony, can't tolerate stress at work, or an ugly office. They like to work with beautiful things, art, modeling, interior decorating. But where is Venus, what does it aspect, and what house does it rule? What are the progressed aspects? Obviously you won't tell a 12-year-old the same thing you would tell a 30-year-old, because it hasn't affected them yet. But your chart will give you an indicaion of where your natural talents lie, and what you would be happiest doing. Maybe your kid doesn't want to play football. Maybe he wants to play in the orchestra. His chart would show you that. And you could introduce him to music and maybe fish as a hobby, etc, rather than forcing him into other things.
