why only 12 country and why there is still danish kroner,norway,finland currency

As mentioned above, Switzerland is not a member of EU, so therefore.

Regarding, UK (and Denmark and Sweden, who also did not join the Euro), there may be several reasons, depending who you ask. As for UK, reasons will include veneration of the old and historic Sterling Pound, part of UK history and collective, mental self understanding. Also EU-skeptics (many of those in UK) see the Euro as the first step towards a full-blown European federation. Finally there was macroeconomic debate on pr and cons of joining the Euro, but this was , as far as I remember, not what was critical when people in UK and Denmark voted on the Maastrict treaty.

I don`t think that Switzerland is part of the E.U.

The British Pound is more valuable than the Euro, so maybe that is one reason.
