First of all, it would be easier to answer this question if you were a little clearer. Second, it is not only the English who have hooligans. Anyway, wherever a "hooligan" is from, the reason is because they don't really care about football. They just want to have an excuse for drinking more, fighting and generally doing the things they would be doing anyway.

Alcohol, sun and stupidity don't mix. During a summer football tournament, where English fans are present, there are all three of those in abundance!
OK, not all English fans are bad, in fact most aren't! It is unfortunate that the media only seem to report on the ones that are.
In all fairness it is not just the English anymore either! Not that I am condoning the English hooliganism either ;)

it would help if that question was in english, and they just like a good fight, and we are not dirty players that portugeese w@nker has a cheek, we take him into our english team, give him loads of money and he gets 1 of our best players kicked off. Thats Loyalty for you

"hooligans" are not football fans, they're just drawn to football gatherings because they see them as an excuse to cause trouble.
