you cant do anything. be a good sister and try to keep up all the things you usually do. if your parents are unhappy with eachother it's best that they go their separate ways - for everybody.

Though there's nothing you can effectively do about the divorce, your attention (as is already apparent) should be directed on how to assist your sister, et al to an ongoing healthy development through the crisis. You may need some help. Consider confiding in a teacher or clergy (if religion is significant in your life) or family doctor for possible referrals and other help resources, or another family member that is gifted with being well balanced and able to give sensible advise.

two and ahalf is young. She will do fine. Just keep things positive.
It is more difficult for the older children than those who are younger. You little sister will probably never remember when she was that young. You and your sibblings will. Know that it isn't your fault. Love both of your parents. Life goes on. Be strong.

As someone said, there's nothing you can do. But you could talk to your parents about your anxieties. You could also turn to a loving relative to help you sort your life out. You just have to take control, I know that you are just 11 or 10, and it is difficult. Take care, I hope you have a grandmom, grandfather, aunt, uncle who can help you.

When parents divorce it is not the children's fault, the best way is to sit them down and tell them about how you feel and how this affects you and your sister.
Divorce can hurt a child emotionally and physically. Now you are in situation when you are emotionally torn apart by two loved parents.
So the best way is to communicate with them and tell them that you are emotionally in pain and feel physically torn between two loved adults.Hope this helps!

the best thing to do for this type of situation is just stick with your siblings...which ever parent you get stuck with just try not to loose any of your brothers or sisters!

Hang in there sweetie!! Most likely, your little sister won't be depressed. All you really need to worry about is yourself. So how are you? How do you feel about this?

You should tell them that in the Bible it is wrong for divorce as it causes temptation. You should tell them if they divorce it should have grave consequences to salvation from God. That will make them not divorce.
