You have two groups, real allies, and allies that are in it to try and get investment. You can tell the difference by who joined the US in Iraq. Very few countries out of the 30 or so allies sent troops. Japan sent 40 guys or something, and withdrew them shortly thereafter. Poland and romania sent a few and then withdrew them too. Spain had quite a presence but also retreated. England and Australia are the only true allies, though that could change. Countries like Honduras are only allies insofar as they can cash in.

Most countries are but... seem to be getting less and less close. Bush is pushing them away. It is interesting that some of you think allies are just the people that do what ever you say. It is not someone who helps you in time of need, but someone who will help you steal oil from a poor and defendless country?

As of right now, America has 132 countries that are our allies. Some of them are small...but they are still there when we need them.

Don't none of the above countries support us or our strategy in Iraq or other issues. Bush has pushed France away and other countries like Russia. Countries deal with us because of the fear of N. Korea.
