Bush and company would have us believe that the oil over there is incidental to their purposes, that we would be there even if there were no oil. The truth is that they have an actual doctrine on paper, created by one of their intelligence think tanks, that postulates that whoever controls the oil in the coming decades, will be in position of power in the world. They wholeheartedly believe this doctrine. The next step was how do they get a foothold over there in oil land that they can comfortably control. Well, attacking Iraq fit their needs. Saddam was a very bad guy, so it wouldn't be hard to sell it to the public. Iraq was weak. That was the key. In fact, Iraq was a pushover. Now Bush and company needed a legitimate excuse to attack Iraq. They came up with Weapons of Mass Destruction. That played real well with the public who was very scared of terrorism. This was merely a continuation of Bush's theme, War on Terrorism. That pablum went down smoothly. The public bought it. The purpose Bush and company had was to topple the government there and replace it with a U.S. friendly one. That was important in order to maintain our oil interests there. The problem was that Bush and company rushed in without adequate preparation. First, they didn't have a clue how the eastern mind works. They assumed people over there think like us. Second, they didn't foresee what the war would do to our economy in the long run. Bush was spending somewhere around 70 billion per day on that war. We are in huge debt, which means that we are not our own bosses anymore. The debtor is slave to the lender. Thirdly, we severely lacked troop strength to pull it off right. Fourthly, we didn't realize the we would have to rebuild Iraq's superstructure to get that economy and country back to some level of comfort.

In short we failed in our objective because we were so short-sighted, but we are still hanging on, hoping.
Ultimately we will leave. Then the biggest thug with the biggest gun will take over. Here is a clue: No government can survive over there unless they hate Israel and America who supports her.

One of the biggest lies foisted on the American public is that our guys are over there dying for America. They are not dying for America; they are dying for greedy and stupid politicians who count the loss of lives as part of the cost of doing business. And if they can get the troops to believe they are doing it for America, Chevrolet, Mom's apple pie and God, all the better.

No more of a coincidence than Dick Cheney secretly meeting with oil company executives to establish US energy policy immediately after taking office in 2001.

And, the only changes that seem to have occurred were the initiation of global warfare for no particular reason.,

No intelligent person believes that the US military is going to defeat "terrorism," which is a tactic, not an enemy. The more "terrorists" the US creates, the more profit Exxon Mobil makes.

N. Korea has the largest known deposits of natural uranium. Apparently, the US plans to need those deposits in the future and is laying the groundwork to justify an invasion to install a "friendly" dictator in N. Korea.

But, who really knows? The people pulling the strings have far more important things to do than waste their time on Internet message boards.

There is oil in Russia.. and south america.. and Canada if you count the deposits in the sand up there. Oil does dictate policy to a certain extent.. just not in the way that you think. Oil enables dictators and despots to become more dangerous by providing revenue. Iraq's army was number three in the world in 1991. Not because they were selling sand. You think north Korea is dangerous now? Imagine if they had a valuable resource like oil. Wouldn't need the world to help feed their people then, would they.

Actually, there is more oil in Siberia than there is in each of the countries in the Middle East, where do you think Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, etc. get their oil? We cannot easily get the oil from the Siberian oil fields to our tankers, so we buy from the Middle East.

Secondly, if they use their oil as a weapon, and our children and elderly began dying because we cannot keep the heaters operating, would you then want us in those contries. Or are you willing to see our weakest citizens die so that you can keep hating President Bush?

So the position is your evidence? in simple terms declaring so doesn't make it so. i visit inform transferring memories about how fanatical terrorists have spilled the blood of innocents and blown up their own people...blah blah blah. Destruction, warfare, soreness, terror, hatred, oppression, rhetoric, that is all evil, no count who's doing it. there is truly no "good or righteous" facet the following. that's a conflict of religions, respect, and freedoms. You ask the question with such rhetoric, such hatred, what style of answer do you assume? I favor the international would in simple terms awaken and comprehend that there are good people everywhere, if we purely take a even as to seem. That warfare is illogical and counterproductive. the area is that no individual will yield, because it will be seen as a weak point, so we proceed this vicious cycle, and probably will invariably. regrettably, the only courageous individual who does attempt to yield and compromise shall be taken earnings of by using the evil those who think of their way is sweet. Why can't we in simple terms stay in our attitude international locations and leave all of us on my own?
