if u need only small space u can go to www.geocities.com its a yahoo service. If u have a gmail account u can try google pages it offers 100mb ( pages.google.com ) it offers a cool online interface also. there are other services such as bravehost it have many cool addons bravehost offers 100mb. www.150mb.com also gives u a 100mb.
if u are new to this. and want to avoid html coding then i recommend google pages for u its really cool....
for a free domain u can use dot.tk ( www.dot.tk ) which gives u free domain under .tk

the bes thing you will do is download macromedia dreamweaver and create a top class web page for free like i have it is ******* amazing and obviously free as it is your own software.
