How do you know you are not good at anything? You've not tried enough to find that out. If work puts you in a bad mood, then find a job that doesn't put you in one. It's up to you the mood you carry at any job. You sound very negative.... You don't like money because it stresses you out? Try earning your own and paying your way through life instead of leaning on someone else....maybe you have that syndrome where you feel the need to be a hermit.... get some good counseling and open up your wings and fly! Life is what you make of it and you don't seem to even want to put your foot in the door .... sad sad

Hey, the world needs rejects, dumbasses and bums just as much as it needs brilliant scientists, charismatic leaders, intrepid business people and faithful public servants.

...I think.

Why don't you get pit passes to a motocross race, dump your boyfriend, and go hit on the head mechanic? learn to play mahjong, and take a trip to china. Find some crazy middle-aged lady to teach you chinese mahjong, and take a gambling cruise to Macau.
Come back and get a job a Sea World. Any job. Then learn how to kayak. Go to the Black Hills of South Dakota, find Wind Cave Natural Park, and find a private guide to take you spelunking to the less travelled parts of the cave system.
Go home, and become an expert on tea. Not a snob, just an expert. Grow your own herbs for the food you make. Be VERY picky about the potting soil you use.
Forget everything you know about cars, and learn all about boats. go sailing, and take a trip up the coast. All the way up the coast.
Get busted standing up for something you believe in, at least once. Chain yourself to a gate, block the shipment of some nukes, protest outside the embassy of Western Sahara.

In that order.

well stop being afraid. remember that a lot of woman are homemakers and happy. If you want to go back to school or get a job go out and try new things have new experiences, you might find something that just enthralls you. your not too olf to make a decision. going to a community college for general studies might give you an idea of direction. Dont worry you'll figure it out theres plenty of time. and by the way you dont havee to be a mother to be a wife, and you never know you might change your mind about kids

Candie - I would bet that you're good at lots of things but the one thing you're VERY good at is thinking negative thoughts about yourself and you have to learn how to UN-learn this very bad habit. I hope I'm not confusing you.

You are 19, you have graduated HS and you still have your whole life ahead of you. But you have to realize that a good life with all the good things in it doesn't fall in your lap most of the time. It has to be earned, and worked for, and fought for. There are many things that you will have to do in life that may make you (and others) unhappy: working, fighting with your boyfriend, taxes, working out, laundry etc. The trick however is allowing yourself to be happy (sometimes for happiness' sake alone) while you do these things. This is very difficult to do. It is abnormal. Most will not understand it. But to live a truly fulfilling and happy life, one where you control your destiny and bring joy to others as well as to yourself.....well I have a secret to tell you: it is hard work. It's not easy. If it was easy, everyone would have the perfect life. But this isn't the case is it because people don't expect life to be challenging.

Are you up to the challenge? You have everything you need to accept this challenge, but your mindset and what you tell yourself, those are the only things that will allow or prevent you from achieving this life.

Hope this helps.

p.s. one more thought: This is by far the most difficult concept to grasp but if you can understand it and act upon it, it will allow you to do ANYTHING that you set out to do. Think about this and try and engrain it in your brain. Get it tattooed on your butt if that helps. Alright, are you ready for this life-changing, earth-shattering pearl of wisdom I'm about to give you?

ready?

Here goes:

Thoughts (like, "I suck", "I want to quit", "I won't ever amount to anything") are just thoughts. This likely won't sink at first so let me repeat this. Thoughts are just thoughts. Nothing more. They represent little signals passing between synapses in your brain. These thoughts you have are not laws, rules, credos, future predictions or anything else. And most imporantly, thoughts will only affect your life and actions if you allow them to. So don't allow negative thoughts to affect you. Rather, listen to thoughts like: "I can do this" or "I am smarter than I give myself credit for" and let those thoughts affect your life. If you can understand and master this idea, you will be more powerful than you would've ever imagined.

Your still young and you have your whole life ahead of you. You just need to have more faith in yourself. Never write yourself off as hopeless. Try different hobbies, short courses etc untill you find something you like.
