Funny question! I've never understood that either.

About the comment that Max333 made... are there really people out there that are free of worries? All worries? Not a care in the world? That would be nice, but sounds like a dream world to me.

It keeps their minds off reality & truth, & maybe from 'dealing' with real issues. It's not always a bad thing. And perhaps some people's minds are limited to only bullshit!

Maybe they have nothing much else to contribute to the conversation. THey won't be able to BS if they realise you are not listening or making eye contact. If you don't want them to say anything..just say, "Sooooo, I wonder how fast the grass grows"..or.."I wonder what the weather is like in Lithuania" or something like that :)
