He has always been one. Look at old opinons he wrote as a senator and you will agree. He is passionate about what he believes in, but he is a little miss guided.

What you mean as opposed to the Bush administrations reasoned response to scientific evidence for global climate change i.e. re writing scientific reports to minimize and obscure the evidence. If you don't believe me ask the 1000's of scientists that are currently in battle with the white house over this (and other anti science policies this fundamentalist extremist government are trying to implement) One of the things that makes me sad about this subject is the f%£$k wits who deny it and refuse to accept that things may be getting out of control won't be around to reap what they are sowing. It's their grand kids that are going to start getting it in the neck

Probably in response to W's fear mongering over the war on Terror. Must be the first time war has been declared on an emotion that is experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger.
