It depends on your own personality.
For me, it depends on my mood. Sometimes Bach does it for me, other times I need Bob Dylan, Creed, or Aretha Franklin.
I'm a music lover, & I use it daily to enhance or improve my mood & imagination.
When I was at uni I played classical music while I studied. I had a mad cat that noticeably calmed down when I played this music.

It changes! Sometimes it's the blues, sometimes it's jazz, or classical, or African, or R&B; whatever taps my inner imagination.
Key for me is to pay attention to what my inner voice is saying.

i would have to go with classical but if your getting stuck with poetry you need lyrics to get you flowing so LIVE has worked best for me.
