It basically depends on how dense the ballons are, how big they are, and how much helium they're holding... But the average rule is that 50 normal-sized balloons filled to the brim with helium could lift about 25-40 lbs.... to lift a 120 lbs person, you might need close to 200-300 balloons!!!! MAYBE MORE!

You need to test this out. Different size balloons will life different weights. So do some tests with some ballons, and see how much they can lift.
Another thing you need to figure out - how are you planning to get down?

they did an expirement like this on mythbusters once with like.. a 50 pound little kid.. it was a lot of baloons.. for 120 pounds... ur talking.. hundreds of thousands...
