2) If the 2008 elections appear rigged (in favor of the Republican Nominee for example), would you stand up and reject the new President and demand something be done immediately? What would be necessary to make such a claim and feel you have sufficient proof that such a rigging occurred?

3) Should American's be concerned about this kind of issue? Are we controlled by a single Political Party? Is our Democracy doomed? Or is it just pure conspiracy theory?

Why would one state to "get over it", when the next election will be less than 2 years from now? Is it not important for us to question whether our election process is flawed?

I suppose you wish all Americans were just a bunch of mindless sheep? Do you just fall in line with the majority just because they TOLD you to? If so, you are a prime example of the reason of why we NEED to question our Government.

It's our constitutional responsibility to questions our leaders and remove them if they abuse their power. If you don't like it, tough - 'Get over it.'

Depends on what you mean by rigged.

1) Does the actions of the republican party in Ohio and Florida in illegally refusing the rights of registered Democratic voters by refusing them access to vote rigging?

2) Is the fixing electronic voting machines by companies that support the Republican party, so that the results cannot be verified or recounted vote rigging?

W and Jeb would tell you that these do not count as vote rigging. And they are in power. So what are you going to do about it?

Wow.

Let's see. The concept is that Bush was able to rig an election so that all of the states are controlled, bringing the decision to one state, his brother's. (A stunningly brilliant action topped by the most stupidly obvious selection) Then to rig that election so that all of the votes from 4-5 precincts within the state are the deciding factor (And democrat-ruled precincts at that, what a flare for irony Bush has). Then to rig the voting machines in those precincts so that only the right number of democrats would fail to operate them properly (That had to be real hard). Then to control the supreme court of both a state and a country to rule against the hanging chad crowd (wholesale corruption of our most sacred institution on a scale never before seen). And yet still crafty, beating his opponent by a bigger margin than 25% of his predecessors elections in an vain attempt to show that he won the office legitimately.

Boy, if the election was rigged, there are alot of stupid (or corrupt) democrats out there. There'd be an evidence trail as big as the grand canyon, and the democratic leadership apparently can't trip across it if they were shoved into it.

(1) yes (2) maybe (3) yes Anytime an election has the appearance of impropriety it should be questioned and the votes recounted, when it becomes more important to have your candidates "elected" then to have a fair and honest election, something is wrong with your morals. Repuke's have gone so wrong in both 2000 and 2004 that they have allowed the worst president in history to be in power and just look at the mess he has made. Do no try this stuff about Kerry would have been worse because you have no way to prove that one way or the other, but I can prove Bush's track record, $3.10 a gallon today in Michigan. Proof enough ?

I dont think the Elections were rigged just retarded like Kerry he was ahead of bush and kerry had to let hollywood fight his battles
like in every debate he would quote an actor. I am a Democrat if kerry wanted my vote he would have to prove himself without having an entertainer fighting his battles. But I would really vote for Gen Westly Clark or Sen Edwards or Howard Dean.

Let me ask you a question, do you think the 1960 Kennedy/Nixon election was rigged? Kennedy won the national election by just under 100,000 votes. The closest election in US history. Later, about 10 years later, about 7 years after Kennedy was killed it was stated by the federal government and after an existence investigation that more than 300,000 registered Democratic who voted for Kennedy.............were dead!! And had been for years prior to the election. So what is your point to the question??? It's history pal so get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elections "rigged"? That's like rigging the Lottery..its impossible.
Don't forget, you voted into office a person or persons who you
thought would represent American way of life. Atleast, when we
have an election, a civil war does'nt break out. Sooo, There !

The crap that crispin says the repubs did is the same dirty crap that the dems do too. It's politics. Maybe the repubs are better at it.. I don't know. But to say that it was stolen.. or we were cheated.. is just ranting at an unfavorable outcome. Have no doubts... some republican stooge would have written this book if Kerry had won.

I look at the presidential elections kind of like professional wrestling. Yeah the votes get counted and such, but they know who is going to win.

"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country"
