Man u and liverpool are not as far away as people think. In uniteds case two world class center mids and a striker if Ruud goes. In liverpools case two quality wide men a proven goalscorer and another center half. The best 11 players dont always make the best team. The title coming back north!

I think it's more a case of who we should sell. Our biggest problem, like England, is too many players who want the same position. The team is often without structure and direction. The problem is that few genuinely good players are willing to be regular subs, like Solksjaer. Also, Fletcher must go.

Of course, now we have to sort the Ronaldo situation out, we may have to buy, especially if RVN goes too. However, with Saha, Rooney, Giggs, Richardson, Rossi, Smith, Park, Scholes and Solksjear, we're hardly short of attacking options. (If they don't get broken legs, knees, hamstrings and wierd eyesight things!)

With Ballack coming to Chelsea, Joe Cole and Frank Lampard might have an eye on their options - and they'd be good buys for any club. Also, the whole of Seie A might suddenly become a lot more available....

Its time like the global football I opt for playing with 2-3 or maybe 4 dynamic young chaps aging 17 to 19 like Rooney from home n abroad. Also a third keeper, may be the best one. Only then M.U can regain top of the chart position.

personally...i've been following man u since i was small
from the way they play...they are more like a team...but lack of individual talents and leadership...down to the net...van der sar...i think the goal keeper of his class still can make the trophy to man u...more to be watch on defence...left back silvestre is worth in the team...gary should be replace with sagnol of bayern...then for another centre backs...vincent kompany should fill the hole beside ferdinand...in the midfield...right winger they should stick to ronaldo....he brought the man u game into life currently...why dont have riquelme or van der vaart....or maniche...i think that would make man u can compete with chelsea

anyone from norwich city ... we need some money to get back into the premiership .... as delias cook books aren't selling or she is spending it all as gin ..... seriously i think arsenal will win the title as chelski will (hopefully) explode with all those expensive superstars on the bench .... united should try bringing on good young players for the future like arsenal and spurs are doing, and you did in the early 90's ... if you want a quicker fix buy hargreeves to replace your keane shaped hole in your midfield.
