First of all try to calm yourself down and ask yourself what has happened?Since you have to face the outside world and communicate with everyone.
Feelings can be hurt in many ways which include emotionally and physically.
The best way is try to talk with someone your problems and what is hurting you in your life.This may make yourself have more self esteem and confidence.

you have to figure out what your real problem is and the reason why you are shutting yourself from everyone around you. be sure not to shut your self from people who are so close to you(e.g family and close friends) you might hurt them and that may lead to some sort of loneliness. i think the best thing you could do is to just answer whoever calls you coz not all the times they are gonna be calling you. have time for them and yourself as well. dont overdo things just keep it simple and balance that it may lead you a harmonious relationship with others. do whatever makes you happy and if you really dont know what's wrong with you just smile to the people who talks to you even if your not in the mood to answer or just be frank with them and tell your not in the mood for some chit chat, that way they are going to understand and leave you some time for yourself and you'll be seeing the real you again.

maybe your depressed.....start off with maybe writing some stuff down, or doing stuff thats just you like going to the gym...then after you get more used to being around others again...invite a friend. Or maybe just seek therapy. try something that doesnt require much talking like a packed nightclub or a movie then you'll at least have something relevent to talk about for a little while...maybe a baby step is all you need

Are you depressed about something? Do you feel like you have no control over how you feel or don't know why you feel this way? I had a friend who did the exact same thing. Come to find out she had clinical depression and needed treatment. Hormones can also do this. You need to talk to someone about this.

You aren't shutting anybody out...you are talking to millions of people on the Internet...the advice I can give you is wright a letter to your family and friends saying exactly how you feel...that's what i do and it works...although my letters are usually 10 double pages long written on both sides...hope you can use my advice.

Well it sound like to me that your in a depression I would talk to my doctor to see what can be done. It could be different medical reasons why your feeling this way.So talk to your doctor and let your family ,friends know that it's not that you don't want to talk to them it's that your having a tuff time at it right now. They'll understand.

Depression is a very serious emotional struggle. See a counsler of some type to help you understand what is wrong. Also, change your diet, and see a nutritionist.
