I wonder if you have some history of abuse issues in your past. Often women who have been touched, molested, etc often feel this way. If you haven't been abused, then you just aren't ready for intimacy. You should take your time and slowly work into touching when you feel comfortable. Maybe, you are just a person who would feel more comfortable starting the act instead of receiving it.

Multiple possibilities I think. 1. Your just not ready for a physical relationship yet, everyone develops at their own pace. 2. You are ready for a physical relationship, just not with the boys you've been dating. 3. And I'm not being cheeky here, have you considered the possibility you might be gay.
Anyway, I think you're smart to try and figure this out before just getting physical with someone. This is very important for your future.
Best of luck.

Its different for everyone at what age they find intimacy comfortable. Just because you're 17 and not yet interested in sex does not mean you have anything wrong with you. You will feel differently when you find the right person at the right time in your life. You have plenty of years ahead of you. Enjoy being a teenager and don't worry about it.

You are not ready for a sexual relationship yet, wait until you are, don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with just because you think others are doing it. Believe me your time will come - wait for that very special time - you'll know when it comes - it will probably be a few years yet - but well worth the wait, just enjoy your tender years at the moment.

I have this same exact problem.. Isnt' it HORRIBLE!! I personally think its because I'm immature and I'm not ready to be with a guy ilke that. Casual kissing is okay, even light making out...but anything more than that freaks me out. Well I'm hopeless, but good luck to you! Try to find someone that you can be comfortable with. Someone you trust.

It sounds like you are just not ready yet, when you are, you will know it and you won't be uncomfortable. Don't let them pressure you into anything you're not ready for. The one that is worth it will respect that.
