Perhaps the most human trait that exists, is the ability to act and think irrationally. To be able to take a simple action, and associate it with a million things, good and bad.

To experience a sunset as not only the end of the day, but as a divine moment. To attribute emotions and instincts stirred up from average events to something beyond the human.

In short, A man is truly human because he's not sure what makes him human.

A man becomes truly human when he lets his emotions show, in the proper context they are to be shown and within the dictates of the society. A man becomes truly human when he exhaust all means to ensure that he reaches all his full potentials, when he succeeds in living the world as a better person as compared as to when he was just born. A man becomes truly human, when he cries not only due to sadness but also due to happiness. A man becomes truly human when he realizes that he is one with his soul.

I'd have to agree with lexigirl17 (I think that was the name.) What separates us from the lower life forms is our ability to ponder our existence. That we can conceive our abilities and disabilities puts us above all other lifeforms. We have a conscience and that helps us (most of us) to make good decisions that effect us and others. I heard once that the human is the only animal that makes love face to face, the reason is that we have cognitive ability and that causes us to be compassionate and caring, and it causes us to strive for a connection beyond procreating.

Human as opposed to the other animals in the kingdom he is biologically a part of- I'd have to say: intelligence.
intelligence as defined through it's greek and latin roots, "intel" and "legere" meaning, "to choose" and "between." Man has the capactity to make rational decisions. He may not always choose to behave rationally, but he does have that capacity.

I actual ought to %. thoughts (and that i’m truly not with regard to the primitive thoughts that animals would have), our RELIGIOSITY and SPIRITUALITY. Animals can not sense delight or exhilaration, or hate, thoughts that makes out blood rush and that makes us sense quite alive. Animals can see in straightforward words the actual international, at the same time as for a human, a daybreak would represents some thing could extra deeper and extra significant. Animals haven't any Gods, and no desire and continually undergo in options that the universe is what it really is in straightforward words because it really is perceived through the human options which elements it which potential. one among my fashionable philosophers is Lucian Blaga (a Romanian truth seeker). In his writings he said the issue of guy. i am going to attempt to furnish you a short perception into his philosophy about human nature. He stated the adjustments between guy and animal. He says that at the same time as animals stay contained in the prompt actual international which they get to charm to close trough their cognitive senses (cognitive diverse kinds = ‘categorii cognitive’), a international _to_ which they adapt, people stay not in straightforward words in this international, which _they_ adapt to extra wholesome _their_ needs, yet additionally they stay in an Universe of the Unknown. (‘Univers al Necunoscutlui’) We could not p.c. this as being a lack of information indirectly, an finished which will be crammed with some type of cognitive knowledge; this Universe is acceptable to the depths of human knowledge and to spirituality, to the excellent nameless (‘Marele Anonim’ – God). Humas get in contact with this Universe through the abyssal diverse kinds (‘categoriile abisale) which in straightforward words people posses. To sum this all up, at the same time as animals persist with protection and stay contained in the prompt international, people were made for revelation and secret. also, Blaga factors out the very incontrovertible actuality that animals in straightforward words created civilization (primitive because it will be), at the same time as people are creators of custom. Blaga says that human are quite unique attributable to this trait. He provides that people can not evolve more beneficial than they have already carried out. because the ontological mutation (‘mutatia ontologica’) which became them into creatures able to coming up custom, their evolution is done. i love Blaga’s view because it places humanity in a international of poser, custom and makes them unique. (also, yet another Romanian truth seeker calls guy ‘a miracle’. ;)) )
