i would like to buy a book about acting, auditions, etc. It has to be written for a young teenager, or teenager. About 13 years old. Not just any book. one of the most famous ones, and best seller. Anything good. Thanxs!

True and False by David Mamet
This is a fairly new book by one of America's best playwrights and directors. He cuts right to the chase and tells you like it is. He's not a big fan of Stanislavsky's, who can get pretty intense at times for younger actors. Check it out.

I'll bet the school library has acting books for the young. Have them check some out and look them over, then order a copy of the one that seems best suited.

...in Your case may be it is "Hamlet" by Shakespeare ....
The Prince of Denmark tells so many things about acting and dancing, so that's more than "only" a drama by W. Shakespeare, it is also about acting ... in the right way ... and I like the sense of humor in that "drama" ...
