If you go to Alki Beach, a great place to dine would be Saltys. It is known as an elegant, luxurious restaraunt on the beach. You can be seated on the balcony, which has a full view of the ocean and downtown seattle. The food is great! I would highly recommend it.

I'll second Maggie Bluff for dinner.

If you're looking for a casual view restaurant for lunch, Copacabana is good. It's across from Pike Place Market and it overlooks the bustle of the market and the street below, along with the water, islands, and mountains of the peninsula in the distance. It's South American food, with a lot of seafood on the menu (though they do have a tasty vegetarian dish.)

Anthony's Pier 66! They've great seafood as well as seated right on the water front next to the Pike Place Market. Go just before the sun sets on a lovely spring or summer day and be awed by the sunset over the water.

Go to Ivers! Oh my gosh I love their food. They also have an amazing view. Then theres Wild Ginger, but its more upscale and classy. They have SOME outdoor seating, but not much. Good Luck♥

I would consider the Waterfront Grill on Pier 70 or Salty's on Alki Point.
