Lily is a beautiful first name, but why don't you give her a middle name with a sentimental meaning. In other words, use your mom's name or your fiance's mom's name, or a special person to you. Both of my son's middle names are for their grandfathers. Although they aren't "popular" names, I think it gives the child a feeling of belonging in the family when they are named for someone. If you can't pick between your mom and his, try combining their names in an unusual way: Example: Lisa and Anne= Annalise. Play around with it. That special person in your life will feel honored too!
