any tips on how to make my eyes really black? I love avril lavigne's eyeliner. can anyone tell me how people do that?

Its really hard for me to put it on on the bottom. (i do put it on the outside) The top I can do just fine

liquid waterproof eyeliner
use multiple smoothe even strokes
maybelline makes a really good one
after it dries put a sheer eyeshadow
over it with a soft sable brush

Pull down on your lower eyelid to expose the inner rim (just above the lash line), and apply liner there. The first couple of times you do this, your eyes may water a bit, so use waterproof liner. I recommend prestige mechanical pencils. Having dark, thick eyelashes will enhance the effect, looking nmore like Avril's, so make sure to use plenty of mascara. Try Maybelline's "Waterproof Blackest of Black" mascara, it's cheap and works quite well!

That's funny, I apply my eyeliner on too thick and always try to apply it on thinner...but if thickness is what u want try using a liquid eyeliner, you can easily adjust the thickness to the amount desired.

Benefit makes a fat black pencil called Bad Gal. It's great for that effect - especially if you are not used to doing a smoky eye.

the way i get mine to go on thick is to not make my eyeliner pencil sharp...if you have to sharpen it then use a piece of tissue paper to make it a little dull again...and it goes on wider and thicker..just so that it is not pointed but a little round on the tip

just practice until you figure out how to get the effect you want.
when you practice don't use your regular make up, get something cheaprer

black eyebrow pencil.
It wont come off till you wipe it off,
then it comes off easy
