The east coast of Canada ....especially the Lighthouse Route in Nova Scotia. If you go stop by the Saltspray Cafe in Mahone Bay for the best clam chowder, lobster rolls and peanut butter pie you've ever tasted. 15 minutes down the road is Lunenburg which is the only UNESCO Heritage site in North America (I believe)....great for taking pictures and the view from the other side of the bay is spectacular. Best time to visit August/September.

If you are in Bombay then, Lonavala, Khandala, Pune or Igatpuri are nice places.
If you want to travel for a little longer there is no place on earth like Goa in the rains.
