Wii or PS3?

Question

i keep on reading from gaming magazines that the Xbox 360 and PS3 have the same graphics. i own the xbox 360 and the graphics are outstanding even when if you don't have a HD tv. Should my next console be the PS3 and should i turn to a different type of gaming, Wii?

wii.Just think for a sec.ps3very pricy almost same style controler(they copied the motion sensor for some games)wiiA whole new style of gaming(controler looks and feels new and has a whole new feature)much less pricy.sure the wii has bad graphics but you already have an xbox360(which by the way has excelent graphics)but it sticks with the clasics(like mario,zelda,warioware,etc.).by the way i hate gun games and am a hater of all games realistic(except car games).Look if you get a ps3 you will miss a whole lot of fun.Do u wanna know y i hate realistic games.i'll tel u y because if u get fantasy(world of warcraft is my personal favorite)you get to enter a whole new world of creatures enviroments people weopens etc. because to some gamers a video game is more then just a game.

I'll be getting a Wii first, then either a PS3 or 360 later

the reason I won't be getting a PS3 right away is that a) sony make buggy machines, I want them to work out the kinks before I buy a sony system b) I'll be waiting for the price to drop c) I want to make sure it does ok

plus I just suspect I'll have more fun with the Wii, the Cubes only real "failing" in my oppinion was a lack of games, but the games it did have were excelent, and while the Wii has been in development several game developers have expresed a new intrest in Nintendos machine, where as the PS3 might be more flashy I've heard that its expensive to develop for, that might be the PS3s downfall, I feel that high development prices AND high consumer prices might be a very bad combo for sony

I personally put a lot of faith in the ps3, but it's looking so pricy ($500-600, plus the average $60 per game, but some may get as high as $100!). I think it's going to be the most powerful, but you're going to pay for it through your ears. You might be best to stick with that 360 if you can't afford it (which is well-nigh understandable), it looks like a fine system to me, I just stick with the ps3 out of brand-loyalty.

well im a die hard ps fan and u gotta pay for xbox live so id pick ps3. and the wii doesnt even have a release date so id say ps3 all the way

well you already have probably the best graphics system
why not get the wii for innovative controller and decent graphics
plus if you're a zelda, super smash bros., and metroid fan
so i say the wii
thats what im getting

im gonna go wii. the backwards compatibility, and download features have got me hooked. plus, there are some good launch games lined up, and the controller design is pretty innovative

I'd say the Wii. It's much less expensive and it might turn out to be something you enjoy. I say give it a chance.
