Criss Angel along with David Blaine and many other street performers accomplish this incredible feat by doing a well-coreographed illusion.... THis is done by standing with both feet close together with the toe of one foot being at or behind the middle of the other foot. By standing on the toes of the first foot it appears as though Criss Angel is floating. He draws your attention to his upper body instead of his feet!... Another popular method is by kindly asking Tinker Bell to sprinkle some of her magic on the magician!!!

The only real leviation that I am aware of occurring is magnetic levitation which is quite different from what magicians trick people into believing.

In Japan there trains supposedly run using Magnetic levitation

There have been no documented cases that have turned out that this is possible except in a zero gravity chamber or in space. It's just a trick.

Angel is a magician. He's not actually using magic, however. He's doing incredible tricks to make it appear he does (that's what magicians do).

the actual real answer is...... voodoo.
he summons the devil for his magic
Criss Angel uses voodoo to do many of his acts. i suspect that David Blaine does some too. like when he pulled out his own heart.
