i used to smoke it but that was three years ago, i'm clean now. i think it shouldn't though because of all those teens out there that refer to themselves as potheads and such.

Yes because it's a victimless crime. If someone wants to smoke weed then do it, it doesn't bother anyone else. Also, people are going to smoke whether it's legal or not, so it's best to make it legal so that people don't have to resort to the black market to get their product. It's a lot safer for all involved, you get a safer product sold by a reliable source.

I don't smoke either but I don't disagree with it. I mean how many times have you turned on the news or looked at the paper and seen that someone had gotten into a car accident and killed a family because they were high. I haven't really seen this as much as alcohol so I don't think that it is as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Yes,there are some positive effects,that's why there is medical marijuana.People are always raised thinking it's really bad because other people and media say that is.Drinking is legal yet,look how people are killed through drunk drivers.If you smoke you should smoke weed,at least it has an effect on you,cigarettes just kill you.

i think it should be... and no im not a pothead but i have smoked it before. i think all the people should go to myspace and go to the "weed groups of myspace" and read their blogs... you'll find out that the declaration of independence was written on paper made of hemp... in fact if it were legalized then the u.s. would no longer be in debt. just go read it and i think alot of you will change your opinions on the situation.
