I was noticing on all the Roseanne DVD specials and it seems to me Sara Gilbert and Lecy Garenson dont seem to have anything to do with each other. is this just me or have you noticed this too? if you know why, can you tell me?

Sara Gilbert played Darlene
And Lecy Garenson played Becky in the early seasons

Yeah, the first poster is dead wrong. Lecy Gorenson played Becky in the first seasons and then also at the end. The girl who played Becky in between was Sarah Chalke, who is now on Scrubs.
Actually, Sara Gilbert and Lecy got along really well on the show and played a lot of tricks on everyone. I hadn't noticed any tension between them on the specials. It could be that they were in character, since they were at each other's throats a lot on the show. But I think they're okay with each other in real life.

They both potrayed the character of Becky, the eldest daughter. Lecy Garenson Was becky first but than left the show. Sara Gilbert took her place. But in the last season Lecy Garenson reprised her role and they even throw in some jokes about it. Like when Lecy walks into a room someone will be like 'Where have you been?'

I love Roseanne! Unfortunately, I haven't seen any of the special dvds. It would be hard to believe that they wouldn't get along, they worked side by side for so long. You could always ask theese people though, they're bound to know something :)
