The idea of life coming out of nowhere is called Spontaneous Generation. This idea went out the door because of experiments conducted between the late 1600 to the 1800, by Francesco Redi, Tuberville Needham, and Louis Pasteur.

It was shown that isolating meat from flies prevented maggots, and isolating broths from dust and microbes prevented spoilage.

It is possible that life may have occurred spontaneously on the Earth, however, the atmosphere now present prevents those same conditions from occurring today.

How do you explain the fact that a decaying piece of fish or chicken thrown into a dry compost pit that s sealed from above, has maggots all over it in days and in the end decomposes completely? The compost pit opening is opened only for a few seconds, the material thrown in and closed immediately.

The stench from the dead carcass draws a lot of flies and possibly other insects as well.

When flies are drawn to the dead carcass, they lay their eggs in parts of the carcass. Maggots (baby flies that look like worms) eventually come out of these eggs and feed on the carcass (dead tissues, blood, puss) for their survival.

Flys. I swear you must be the only one who doesn't know that. Sounds like you must think they come from the carcass, which was a theory known as, spontaeneous reproduction, it has been disproven.
