OK, see what's happening AMERICA???? The terrorists are patiently waiting for the results of the next presidential election, this has to be in question form, so I ask you, do you want a nice guy in office? or do you want an asshole that will do what needs to be done??????? No terror acts has happened since 911, because Bush took care of business that Clinton didn't. Clinton admits it. I don't know who is gonna run in 08, but beware, please, beware, this is way worse attack than Pearl Harbor, the chickens just **** on a small island there, knowing our force had gathered there to fight Hitler, NOW with the technology, all countries against us has an advantage, because WE AMERICANS can and do say anything we want to, anytime we want to, wether it be online, on tv, on radio, anyway we want. So our word is our death, it could be anyways. lets shut the hell up and let our president (elected by us) do his damned job. Ron Couch

Interesting question. I haven't been reading and posting here very long. But from what I have read most who post really seem to hate Bush. With the mind set of some today concerning war, I wonder what they would have thought of Lincoln during the Cival War or Truman during WW11. Abe would have put that guy from the New York Times in Jail in a New York minute for leaking secrets that might help our enemy and sort it out later. Truman just might have taken all Arab looking people and put them in camps as he did with the japaneese. One thing is for sure whether we have a Demo, or a Repo for president in 08 we need someone who knows we are at war with people who have no morals no geneva convention guide lines to follow who will gouge your eyes out cut off and stick your private parts in your mouth after beating every inch of your body as they just did to two of our marines. I'm not saying we should treat them that way nor do I think what they are doing to the detainees at gitmo is so bad. Geez it's not supposed to be a stay at the Hilton. I just hope he knows there is no "diplomatic" way to deal with these monsters who kill innocient people on a daily basis. I could go on and on but I think you get my drift. And of course while fighting this terrible war keep the economy going fix health care and social security and a number of other things while being called every dirty name in the book. Who in their right mind would want such a job? ps spell check wasn't working at the time I wrote this so I sowwy for mispelled words

And just how long do you think the strong arm tactic will hold them off? didn't your mom teach you that fighting never solves anything? Going around bombing everyone isn't going to end terrorism, we have to stop the anti-American sentiment in the world. Being an 800 lb. gorilla isn't going to do that. eventually we will slip, someone will get through our defenses. The way they are running things right now, the only way to prevent that is to lock down the country, and allow the government to seize anyone they think is a threat, at any time.
So we give up our civil liberties, in order to maintain control, and end up becoming a military state. No thanks.
What we need to do is educate the world about the freedom America offers, and NOT support regimes around the world that oppress their own people. We need to lead the world in peace, not in war. End the conflict between Isreal and the Palistinians, and a lot of the hate would go away.

So I wonder why the rest of the world is mad that we went into iraq. Let's see he was bribing Kofe Annon as part of the oil for food program. He had acquired illegal millitary technology from france and Germany. I wonder why those nations would all of a sudden be mad at us for going into Iraq and setting up a new government that now owes them nothing for deals made under the table with the last regime?
hmmm... I guess we'll never get to read the rest of the reports on the weapons of mass destruction. We do know though from the released reports that over 100 munitions of weapons of mass destruction were found barried (ie not destroyed and reported as per UN rules) We'll never find out from the reports exactly who made these missiles and the poisonous gas. Hmmm... maybe it's still secret because the gas was made in french labs and encased by german technology.

PS The supreme court ignored the dirrect wording of the law authorizing the holding of prisoners in Guantonmo Bay and preventing interference by The courts.
They also did not read the wording of the Geneva convention on UNUNIFORMED COMBATANTS They ignored the presadent where Franklin Roosevelt in World War 2 had 2 german spies (ununiformed combatants) detained and executed for war crimes by a military tribunal. They also ignored another case where the Supreme court ruled that the supreme court has no business ruling on captured enemy combatants that have not been transfered to US Soil.
Al Queida does not wear uniforms they all ought to be tortured and shot on site for violating the rules of warfare. We are being humane.
Never before has a supreme court more fully ignored history presadent and law than now. Never before has a president been more harrassed and stripped of power than now.
This is a disgrace that you don't know history. This should be on the news not Bush overstepped his authority. Men in Black have over stepped their authority it's time they had a term limit and where able to be withdrawn for referencing international law rather than calling for congress to write clearer law.

Apart from Russia, some countries in Eastern Europe and Israel, peoples across the world have borne negative views on Bush, who has been targeted by the global anti-war and anti-globalization campaigns. He has also been accused of wire taping, misleading the nation to war, and the Supreme Court ruled that his actions at the Guantanamo Bay prison were unconstitutional and in violation of the Geneva Convention. Bush's policies have also been subject to heated criticism in the 2002 elections in Germany and the 2003 elections in Canada.[citation needed] While getting along well with right-wing leaders, Bush has been openly condemned by left-wing politicians such as Gerhard Schroeder, Jean Chretien and Paul Martin. Diplomatic visits made by Bush have been characterized by small-scale as well as significant protests.

I agree with some of what you say. The fact is, Bush has stopped the Islamic extremists in their tracks, voiding any further attacks on American soil.
If Lil’ Abner Kerry or Needy Hillary become president, it will make America weak; it will be Jimmy Carter all over again. America needs a right wing conservative to keep our shores safe. As far as liberals are concerned, they are all talk and no substance. They lolly-gag to win the votes of lesbians and gays, their closest allies. I heard somebody say Hillary has had more women than Slick Willie. As for Kerry, he is a butt boy for the far left.

Good Lord!!! It is all his fault that 9/11 happened in the first place. How can people be so blind?? He was right there with the "terrorists" planning the whole thing. He might as well be the anti-christ. I can't wait for the day that sorry excuse for a human being is out of office.
