I so desperately want him to play in the finals, has anyone heard if he's recovered from his injury?

It is official that Nesta will not be available for the Final.
Most likely Materazzi will substitute him again: not bad replacement, but obviously Nesta is another kind of player. I just hope that Materazzi controls his temper!
There is even the chance that Barzagli may substitute Nesta, but that is a very slim chance... but with Lippi everything can happen!

Yeah I feel the same way about him playing Sunday! Nesta is amazing, to me he's just as good as Cannavaro, if not better............. I haven't heard any news about it but I really wish he could be part of the finale.. Whatever happens, Italy can obviously play without him, but he completes the team so well!

The last time i heard about him is he is going to make it for the finals, so no worries! He will be playing!!
