Why did selena's fan club manager Yolanda Saldiva murder her?

I remember when that happened. Yolanda was jealous of Selena.

Yolanda Saldivar shot Selena in the back at the Days Inn Motel. She shot her cause Selena had finally realized what a monster she was, and Selena was shutting her out of her life forever. Because she was lying bout the rape that she claimed that happend. And also she kept giving her the wrong documents for when she was taking money from her Fan club. Yolanda was very obsessed with Selena.
Selena was shot a little after 11 a.m. and she was pronounced dead at 1:05 p.m. Cause of death was loss of blood. Surgeons said that no amount of blood transfusions would have saved her. She had just lost too much blood too fast.
I really dont like talking bout the monster that killed her, but for all that Im concerned, She can rot in jail for all eternity. Selena did not deserve this. She was way too young. She had so many more dreams to accomplish. She was a true angel on this earth. Yolanda will pay for ripping her away from us. Selena will always be in the hearts of the fans she touched.

Yolanda was a REALLY close friend to Selena. Selena trusted her with all her heart and soul. She met Selena in like 1991 or 1992 after a concert and asked if she could run a fan club of Selena. Then around 1995 just as Selena's crossover album Dreaming Of You was wrapping up, Selena's father Abraham noticed suspicous checks with Yolanda's name on it and angry letters from the fan club members saying they have not recieved their items. Yolanda was stealing money from Selena and her fans, how low can someone go? Well on March 31, 1995 Yolanda arranged a meeting at the Days Inn hotel in Corpus Christi and told her she had a very important document to give her. Some say the 2 women argued for awhile and the Selena told her she was fired, Yolanda then showed Selena a gun she had. Selena got very scared and tried to take off but as she was leaving yolanda shot her in the back once. One hour later she was dead. Some say yoland killed her for money and lots of other stupid reasons. But I know she cowardly killed Selena in an acy of jealousy. She wanted Selena "all to herself". and when Selena told her she was fired, she couldn't imagine her life without Selena. She was obsessed with her! It's really crazy.

Becasue she had found oput that Yolanda was ripping off a lot of money that was coming in from concerts. Selena's family begged her not to confront Yolanda alone, but Selena didn't feel that Yolanda was a threat to her. Selena was shot in the stomach and died shorter later at the hospital. Yolanda was arrest, charged with murder and is serving life in prison in Texas.
It was one major loss in the Latin Music world the day Selena died.

Jealousy can be an ugly thing. Yolanda was jealous of Selena and embezzling money from her business and fan club. When Selena confronted her about it, Yolanda freaked out and shot her.

There is also a movie called "Selena" which tells the whole story of her life all the way from childhood to her death. It's a really good movie but sad. I think I've seen it hundreds of times and cry every time.

Selena had discovered that her manager, Yolanda Saldovar was ripping her off and she killed her "accidently" so she wouldn't be found out. Selena had planned to fire the woman and instead ended up dead.

Her fan club manager was obsessed and laundered money from selena's fans and felt she had no other way out. It is so sad. selena was an incredible singer. Not only did her Fan club manager steal money from us..she also stole the music legacy selena would have created....

they caught Yolanda imbezzling money and confronted her about it. she denied it, and was so devasted that she shot selena
(have you seen the movie that jennifer lopez made, of Selena? it's really great. and at the end, i believe there is some actual footage of the real selena and yolanda. so very sad)
