Maybe Dr. Dre..... he managed to survive the whole East Coast/West Coast rivalry... He's still making money in the business, and he was smart enough to take emminem under his wing.

This must be a rhetorical question, because there ain't no such animal! Although devoid of all musical talent, I will give them this: some have them have been clever enough to fleece a tasteless public out of MILLIONS. They represent all that is wrong in the world today: greed, violence, hatred/disrespect for women and common decency in general, then they live like royalty, and flaunt it. People who buy into this mentality don't even have a clue what REAL music is....

Probably KRS-1. They do call him "The Teacha," after all.
And even though he's not rapping anymore, Will Smith. He turned down M.I.T. to start his rap career.

Vanilla Ice. He was smart enough to get out of the business which isn't as good as it used to be.
