Iran does not have functional nuclear weapons. They are working on developing a nuclear weapon. At this time, they have just started to enrich isotopes to weapons grade, and they still have to develop a delivery system. Of course, that does not rule out someone packing a nuke into a container and detonating it in a crowded harbor somewhere. A groundburst in a busy port city would be terrible in it's effect. They have to develop a working bomb.
I don't believe we are OK at all with a nutcase like Kim Jong Il having nuclear weapons. If they get any closer to a reliable long range delivery system, there may be further intervention. We are still in a shooting war in Iraq, so we can't intervene too extensively. We can try to get the UN to take the situation over, but that's like doing nothing. The UN is impotent, and does not have the will to take real decisive action.

Because US is very much aware of the fact that any muslim nation who has nuclear weapon will use these weapons against US. Another reason is that it given other nation an indication of liberty against US as a superpower.
North Korea is not a muslim country so US is okay with them.

Who said we are ok with N Korea having nuclear weapons. If they threaten us we will defend our country also as we should and have the right to do.
